Evelena

She lives in a house near the ocean
Where cardinals and hummingbirds come to play
She lives a life of tenderest devotion
For the man she loved who now has passed away

Within the rings of Saturn they found a moon
That causes the rings to ripple in waves
Beyond the stars he casts his rod and wades downstream
And waits for her to join with him again
The wind in the trees
Whispers her name

Evelena
Love never ends
Evelena
Love never ends

You hear me calling to you
You know I'm waiting for you

Her children say "You worry yourself too much"
But it's not the worrying that I mind
It's being alone all the time

Evelena
Love never ends
Evelena
Love never ends

She pauses at his grave
And clears the dandelions away
